Is your child keeping up with the work their school has set?

Lords Tutorials is after-school academic support for Nursery to Class 5, on the Lords Public School campus. Your child brings their own school books, their own homework and their own upcoming tests — and gets help with exactly those.

What this is

After school, on the school campus

Lords Tutorials runs at the Lords Public School campus in J-Block, South City, after the school day is over. It is a separate programme with its own timing and its own fee — but it runs inside a school that has been teaching here since 2006, run by a family who have worked in education since 1971.

It is not a second shift of the school, and it is not an evening school. Joining Lords Tutorials is not admission to Lords Public School, and it does not require it either: children come to us from any school, because we work from whichever syllabus their own school is teaching.

Why this is different

Built around your child's own syllabus

Children on the same street go to different schools. Different schools set different books, move through chapters in a different order, and test different things in different weeks.

So a tuition class that teaches "Class 3 maths" in general is teaching to nobody's actual chapter. Your child sits through work they have already done, and still goes home with the homework they were stuck on.

Here, your child works from their own school's books, their own chapters, their own homework and their own upcoming tests. That is the whole idea.

A normal day
  1. 1Your child arrives with their own school bag.
  2. 2Today's homework gets done, and checked.
  3. 3Whatever was not understood in class gets gone over again, from their book.
  4. 4If a test is coming, the practice is for that test.
What's included

Every week, for every child

Homework support

Your child finishes the work their own school has set, with someone sitting beside them while they do it.

Revision and practice

Chapters already covered in class are gone over again, and practised, until they hold.

Doubt solving

Questions a child would not raise in a full classroom get asked and answered here.

Regular tests

Written tests at regular intervals, so a gap shows up while there is still time to close it.

Small batches

No more than fifteen children in a class, and every grade works as its own group. Grades are never mixed together.

Progress updates for parents

You are told how your child is actually doing — not only at the end of a term.

Before you decide

Free 1-day trial class

Send your child for one full day, at no cost. On that day we find out where your child actually stands — what they have understood, and what they have not.

At the end of it you get told specifically what we found: which topics are solid, which are shaky, and what we would work on first. You can use that whether or not you enrol.

  1. 1

    Come an hour early

There is a short 1-Day Free Trial form to fill in before the batch starts.

  2. 2

    Your child joins the batch

A full session, the same hour and a half as any other day.

  3. 3

Then we sit down with you

The teacher and the Principal go through what your child can already do, and where they need help.

  4. 4

Only then, if you want to go ahead

You can enrol the same day — the admission form, the ₹200 admission fee, and your receipt.

Questions

Straight answers

Is this the same thing as Lords Public School?

No. Lords Public School is a daytime school your child is enrolled in. Lords Tutorials is a separate programme that runs on the same campus from 3:00 PM, helping children with the work their own school has set. It is not a second shift of the school, and joining one does not enrol your child in the other.

Which classes do you take?

Nursery to Class 5, with no more than 15 children in a class.

A batch is a time slot, and each one covers several classes — but inside it every grade works as its own group. Grades are never mixed together.

Lords Public School itself teaches Pre-Nursery to Class 5 — a similar age group, but not the same thing. The school is where a child is enrolled; Lords Tutorials is homework help at 3:00 PM for children from any school.

Pre-Nursery is not open yet — we expect to start taking admissions for it soon. If your child is in Pre-Nursery, do call and we will let you know when it opens.

Does my child have to study at Lords Public School to join?

No — Lords Tutorials is open to children from any school.

We work from your child's own school syllabus, so it does not matter which school they attend. Their books, their chapters, their homework, their tests.

What does it cost?

₹1,000 a month while the first batch fills. The fee goes up as the programme grows:

  • ₹1,000Now — the founding batch
  • ₹2,000Once 50 children have joined
  • ₹3,000Once 105 children have joined

To join there is a one-time ₹200 admission fee. After that it is the monthly fee and nothing else, paid between the 1st and the 3rd of every month.

If you join now, your fee stays at ₹1,000 for 6 months. The increases above are for families joining later — your child does not move up with them.

What days and times does it run?

Monday to Saturday, after the school day. There are two batches, each 1 hour 30 minutes long. Which batch your child joins depends on their class:

  • Batch 1 · 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

Nursery, KG, Class 1 and Class 2

  • Batch 2 · 4:45 PM – 6:15 PM

    Class 3, Class 4 and Class 5

We are closed on Sunday — we want children to be children.

What happens on the free trial day?

Come 1 hour before your child's batch, so there is time for the short 1-Day Free Trial form. Your child then joins the batch for the full 1 hour 30 minutes, at no cost.

Afterwards the teacher and the Principal sit down with you and go through what your child can already do and where they need help. If you want to go ahead, you can enrol the same day — the admission form, the ₹200 admission fee, and your receipt. If you would rather think about it, the feedback is yours to keep either way.

What should my child bring?

Their own school books. That is the whole point — we work from their school's syllabus, so we need the books their school set.

When does the first batch start?

1 September 2026. The free trial class runs before then, so you can see how your child gets on before the batch begins.
